Shipping Policy

At Vela Pet, we specialize in two types of high-quality products: our Curated Collection (ready-to-ship) and our Custom Keepsakes (made-to-order).

1. Order Processing & Cutoff Time All orders are processed Monday through Friday.

• Order Cutoff Time: 5:00 PM (PST).

  • Orders placed after 5:00 PM PST will begin processing the next business day.

• Handling Time:

  • Standard Items: 3–5 business days.

  • Custom/Personalized Items: 3–5 business days (due to design and production time).

2. Shipping Areas We currently ship exclusively to the United States and Canada.

3. Delivery Estimates Total Delivery Time = Handling Time + Transit Time.

• United States: 8–15 business days.

• Canada: 10–17 business days.

Please note: These are estimated transit times. While we make every effort to meet these timelines, occasional delays due to weather or carrier volume may occur.

4. Shipping Rates

• Free Shipping: We offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders over $75 USD (approx. $105 CAD).

• Standard Shipping: For orders under $75 USD, we charge a flat shipping fee of $7.95 (USD/CAD equivalent) to cover handling and postage.

5. Tracking Your Order Once your order has been handed over to the carrier, you will receive an email with your tracking number.

• Multiple Items: If you order a mix of custom and standard items, they may arrive in separate packages to ensure the fastest delivery for each piece.

6. Duties & Taxes (Canada) For orders shipped to Canada, please note that the customer is responsible for any applicable customs duties, GST/HST, or taxes required by the Canadian government upon delivery.
